If you are moving to Blandford, Chester or Middlefield
and your child/children will be entering kindergarten - grade 4, they
will be attending Chester Elementary. The link below will bring you to
the New Student Registration Form. Once you have filled out the form, please contact Andrea at Chester Elementary (413-685-1360) to finish the registration.

Vision Statement
The
vision of the Chester Elementary School staff is to create a learning
environment that fosters respect, encourages curiosity and creates a
desire in each child to attain his/her potential and become a confident
life-long learner.
MORNING DROP OFF
Please
take a moment to review the proper drop off procedures. We need
everyone’s cooperation to ensure the safety of all our students.
When
buses are stopped and the lights are on, DO NOT pass. You must wait
for the bus to finish unloading and the lights to be turned off. You
will receive a warning/ticket from the bus company if you ignore this
rule.
The
loop in front of the school is designated as a BUS LOOP ONLY. Parents
are to drop their children off at the first parking lot as you come down
our driveway. If you are going to walk with your child(ren) you MUST park in the parking lot. Do not park on the grass to the right of the driveway.
Please
refer to the diagram located on the right, below "Quick Links". This
will allow us to ensure the safety of all students during the busy
morning time.
In
the afternoon, students may be picked up using the parking lot and door
at the end of the building. Early pick-ups may be made using the
regular door and parking.
